Interview some of the members of your family about traditions they might know of in the family. Do your mom, dad, or grandparents remember any family traditions from when they were little? Draw a picture of the tradition they describe, and write four to ten sentences about it. Please also ask why they think the tradition they shared is important, and write that down too.

Special Challenge: List making- Can you make a list of similarities and differences between yourself and another member of your family? How many can you come up with? What does your list tell you about yourself and that family member that you may not have thought of before?
