What a great first day! I hope you had as much fun as I did. It was wonderful to meet all of you. Each one of you is so creative and unique. It's going to be a magnificent year!

For homework, using the transformation drawings and sentences you created in class, I'd like you to write down THREE THINGS you already know about the object or animal you would like to transform into, as well as THREE THINGS you'd like to know. In addition, please write down anything you learned about your object or animal.

Please think of three or four other examples of transformation. You may draw them, but please also write them down in a list.

Special Challenge: Can you find a book at the library, at school, or at home about transformation that you would like to read at home and present to your classmates?
