I can't believe this Sunday will be our last class!  I'll miss you all over the summer, and I want you to know how proud I am of all of you, and how much I've seen you grow and change through all of your hard work.

For this week, finish reading your author study books.  In addition, make a poster that contains all of the information you've been collecting on your author throughout the past few weeks.  It would help to print out some pictures of the author and some pictures of his or her books, and perhaps draw a picture of your favorite scene from the book you read on the poster. You will be presenting your poster to the class, so be prepared with a separate sheet of paper that contains the information about your author which appears on the poster. Have fun with it!  Your poster can be as creative and fun as you'd like!
