Since we don't have school this coming Sunday, I am going to assign a little more reading than usual. Please take the time to read 80 pages during the next two weeks, in the books you are reading for your author studies.  I recommend reading 5-10 pages a day, instead of reading all 80 pages in one sitting.

In addition, Rachel, please finish labeling the sentences you started in class (verb, adjective, noun, etc).

Also, all of you, please write a summary of what happens in the 80 pages you are to read in your books.

Lastly, all of you, please located a biographical book, website, or articles about your author, and bring either the book, a print out of the website info, or the article to class. We are going to do something with them in class.
