We only have four class periods left!  For the next two weeks, I'd like you to work on memorizing a famous speech of your choosing from the attached website. The class after next, we will be reciting them without notes!

For homework this week, you will be expected to prepare the following:

-Pick a speech from the site

-Print it out

-Practice reading it at least ten times, at least three of those in front of a mirror, and three in front of someone else. The rest you can practice on your own. As you practice, remember the keys to good speech making that we went over in class.

-Bring the copy of the speech to class, as we are going to work on oration together.

Write or type 25 sentences that tell me what you think the speech is about, and why you think it's so important that this speech was made.  Also, please tell me why you chose it.
