For homework, please read the first three chapters of "The 100 Penny Box" by Sharon Bell Mathis, and make sure to bring the book to class. 

Also, please complete the "Scary Creature Stories" you began in class. As a reminder:

Why is it scary?

What does it do?

What does it eat?

Please make this assignment 25 complete sentences

 

Use 10 adjectives to describe your creature  

Add 10 more sentences about a creature that is THE OPPOSITE of your scary creature. Think of adjectives (at least five) that mean the opposite of those that describe your scary creature. Draw a picture of each.

Remember, adjectives are words that describe a person, place, or thing. If you are describing an action, the word you are using is NOT an adjective, but an adverb. We will be going over parts of speech very thoroughly next week.
