Hi Class,

How I will miss you all over the break! I so look forward to seeing you again, and oh boy, do I have a good class planned! Start getting excited now!

For homework during the break:

-Finish the escape stories and illustrations that you started in class.

-Find and read a picture book about an insect. It doesn't have to be a non-fiction or science book, it can be a make-believe story book, like Diary of a Spider, for example.

-Write a report on the book. What was your favorite part? Who were the main characters? What happens in the story? What do the characters learn? Do they change at the end? If so, how? Did you like the ending? Can you come up with a different ending, using your imagination? Illustrate your report.
