I hope you have a lovely break, but please know your smiling faces and brilliant minds will be sorely missed by your English teacher!

For homework:

-Please obtain a copy of Joan Aiken's "The Wolves of Willoughby Chase," and read the first five chapters.

-Please complete a rough draft (minimum of two typed, double-spaced pages) of your personal narrative. Remember our discussion of the story arc (set-up, conflict, climax, resolution) as you write, and note whether and where you struggle with creating your story arc. We will be workshopping and editing in class, so keep in mind this is only the first of three drafts you'll be writing. Don't stress too much if it's not exactly how you want it at the end of two pages.
