Hello Class,

Below is the homework for the week. Please read through all of it, carefully and completely. A great thing to do is to print it out and put a check mark next to each part as you finish it.

-Please finish reading "My Side of the Mountain." Read closely; everyone who does should remember major events, and even some minor details in the book. You are all very perceptive and intelligent. I want to see your very best effort.

-I'd love to see all three components of last week's project(typed journal entry, answers to the questions I asked, and a picture of the invention) if I didn't see it from you on Sunday. There's a really great enthusiastic and creative streak in this group, and I know your inventions will blow me away!

-All of you are to type the opening for your personal narratives. The opening should be no less than fifteen typed sentences, and should address all the things you wrote in your notebooks in class.
