Hi Class,

This week we learned about collaboration. One of the things we did in school was tell a group story. Everyone took turns adding a sentence or two until the story was complete, and wasn't it a great story?! I loved it.

-For homework this week, please choose a partner (a friend, a family member, a neighbor, etc) with whom you can collaborate to tell a story.

-Please take turns coming up with lines from the story, and write them down as you go along.

-Please illustrate the story.

-I'll give you the first line of the story: Once upon a time, in a faraway and magical place, there lived a disgusting, nasty, stinky, mean and miserly wizard.

-Continue from there, at least ten sentences, with a partner, until the story is complete.
